CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOMIn
1888 the first Christian Science Reading Room was established in
Boston, Massachusetts. Its purpose was to provide the public a
place to read and study authorized Christian Science literature. Today
there are
about 2000 Reading Rooms in 80 countries around the world.
Our
Reading Room is centrally located in downtown Nashville close to the
new Nashville Public Library. Here you are welcome to learn about
spiritual healing. There is a comfortable study area where
you
may read
from a selection of books and magazines as well
as the international daily newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor. You can explore research materials on the Bible and Science and Health. All of these resources, as well as a number of other audiovisual and print publications on Christian Science, are available for you to use at no charge. A small sales area is provided where you may purchase these books and related materials. A librarian is available at all times to assist you in your search and to answer your questions. CHRISTIAN
